In honor of #InternationalWomensDay, we celebrate inspiring trailblazers like the Owls Club, a Black women’s softball team formed in the late 1930s. The Owls won the first women’s Washington State Softball Championship in 1938 and 1939. Most notably, Lillian Brown, a left-handed pitcher for the Owls Club, struck out TWELVE batters on the opposing team in that championship game 🥎🔥 #WomensHistoryMonth #RunTheWorld
