Duties and Responsibilities

  • Exhibit a clear understanding of TPA’s brand ensuring a consistently modern, forward facig appeal that leans in to the brand’s position and potential, identify target audiences, and develop marketing plans with specific objectives across different channels and segments.
  • Lead the execution of marketing programs from start to finish, leveraging internal support and driving collaboration.
  • Analyze customer insights, consumer trends, market analysis, and marketing best practices to build successful strategies.
  • Create, maintain, and conduct analytics reporting across multiple platforms and extract key insights for future campaign development and go-to-market strategies, complete with formal proposals and recommendations on tactics.
  • Develop and present strategies to nurture leads for the organization’s fundraising initiatives and overall brand awareness.
  • Help develop creative briefs and guide creative direction to meet objectives for all advertising and public-facing communications, including print, digital, and video assets.
  • Manage content and updates for customer and internal touch points, establish budget guidelines, participate in events, document business processes.
  • Present ideas and final deliverables to internal and external teams, and communicate with senior leaders about marketing programs, strategies, and budgets.

 

Qualifications:

  • B/A or B/S required
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in MarComm;

The trainer’s duties include traveling regularly to meet with, assess and train coaches, parents, volunteers in select cities with the purpose of  imparting skills needed to increase baseball competitiveness within their community. Each trainer is expected to  execute a TRAIN THE TRAINER model using The Players Alliance’s framework for player development. The  Player’s Alliance’s framework will be based on the experience, methodologies gleaned from multiple Major League  players, trainers used by and respected for expertise by our members and recognized leaders from the youth  development and sports psychology spaces. TPA’s programming and methodologies are by players for players.  Individuals looking to launch, introduce and/or utilize their own methodology/theory need not apply. 

 

Duties and Responsibilities
The Trainer for Skills Development will be responsible for managing a Train the Trainer model for baseball and  softball, using TPA’s approved framework for player development. While each successful candidate must  demonstrate experience and success in the field, this experience must be applied to TPA’s approved framework, to  ensure symmetry and alignment with the organization’s stance, expertise, principles and goals in this area. TPA’s  framework will guide the candidates work to teach coaches, volunteers, program leaders and parent groups the  fundamentals of baseball/softball, including hitting, pitching fielding and other essential skills. The ideal  candidate(s) should have previous experience as a trainer, possessing strong knowledge of the sport, as well as  excellent communication and teaching skills.

 

Duties will include but not be limited to:

  • Evaluate trainee performance to gauge where skills are lacking and improvement needed • Create training plans and programs to address skill gaps in trainees
  • Use alternative teaching methods to cater to various individuals.
  • Teach proper techniques for hitting, pitching, fielding, and base running.
  • Provide feedback and evaluate the performance of trainees to help them improve their skills.• Develop and maintain positive relationships with TPA’s community portfolio of teams, coaches and volunteers communicating regularly about progress and areas for improvement.
  • Maintain a professional, organized learning environment ensuring that equipment is properly set up, used and stored following each training event.
  • Conduct surveys to gauge the effectiveness of chosen training methodologies
  • Research and stay updated on new teaching methods to best highlight and support TPA’s training framework
  • Practice effective listening to identify potential opportunities for TPA’s Development team to follow up and explore.

 

Qualifications:

  • B/A or B/S preferred; High School diploma with extensive experience in the field as a trainer acceptable.• Stellar performer holding a track record and clear exhibition of professional maturity and brand based achievement
  • Ability to travel by air and auto, across the country as needed based on a developed schedule.• Observant, with excellent analytical skills
  • Previous experience (3 to 5 yrs) in training, with demonstrable and quantifiable evidence of success• Strict adherence to TPA’s philosophy/mission statement/goals and commitments
  • Familiarity, comfort and commitment to excellence in both the principles and practices of diversity, equity and inclusion.
  • Strong, honest, ethical work demeanor and style
