At The Players Alliance, impact begins at the community level. The organization’s 13 Focus Cities were identified by current and former players who understand firsthand where the game has the greatest opportunity to grow. These cities were selected based on the percentage of African American youth living in poverty and falling outside of baseball’s traditional development footprint. Communities where access to resources, equipment, and exposure to the game can be limited.
